Velvet Buzzsaw is a 2019 movie about an art critic who discovers a series of sinister artwork. Like all good art it draws people to it, but for those unlucky, there is no escape.
This movie was particularly creepy in the way that is approached the scares. There was tension and build up followed by an inevitable dread throughout the whole movie. It while being about art, also definitely had the artsy vibe, and may be a little more out there than some of my more typical preferred horror films, but it was worth the watch.
I would rate this movie a 4 out of 5 skulls if we are using the Shudder rating method, and according to Google the only place to watch it is Netflix. So, on this cold, rainy Friday night, I recommend this fright.
